Dave Byrnes has more than 35 years of experience in managing sales and marketing teams, relationship management efforts, and development and distribution of financial products ranging from fixed, variable and indexed annuities, mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments. Dave is the Head of Distribution for Security Benefit, President of Security Distributors, LLC, and manages sales, marketing, and national accounts efforts for all channels. Prior to joining Security Benefit, Dave held executive and senior sales positions at Sun Life Financial, Smith Barney, IDS Life Insurance Company, Shearson-Lehman Brothers, and Prudential-Bache Securities. Dave received a BA in business administration from Gettysburg College.

Justin Jacquinot serves as the Senior Vice President of Independent Marketing Organizations (IMO) and Registered Independent Advisors (RIA). Prior to his current role, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Direct Relationships. With more than 22 years of industry experience, Justin has also worked for Aviva Life & Annuity as a Vice President of Distribution. He received his MBA and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Washburn University and holds Series 6, 7, 26, and 63 securities licenses. He earned the designations of Fellow, Life Management Institute; Fellow, Financial Services Institute; and Retirement Income Certified Professional.

With more than 25 years of experience, Lisa Flanary is Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at Security Benefit where she leads the company’s integrated growth strategy and execution across the enterprise. She oversees the strategy, brand, marketing, sales enablement, product and value management, and communications functions. Her career includes executive leadership roles at Thrivent and Allstate, as well as serving as CEO of Degree of Honor Protective Association, where she led its successful merger with Catholic Financial Life. Lisa holds bachelor’s degrees in journalism and mathematics from Augustana University and an MBA from the University of Illinois –Chicago.

Rui Guo, Chief Actuary and Chief Product Officer, joined Security Benefit in December 1999. She has oversight of product development, product management and pricing, valuation, and corporate actuarial modeling and experience study functions. Previously, Rui worked as a consulting actuary at Actuarial Resources Corporation. She holds a bachelor’s in computer science from Tsinghua University in Beijing, a master’s in mathematics from The University of Kansas, and a master’s in computer science from The University of Wisconsin. She is a fellow in the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Joseph W. Wittrock is the Chief Investment Officer of Security Benefit and joined the firm in 2014. He is responsible for the management of Security Benefit’s investment and derivative portfolios and leads a team of more than 100 professionals. Previously, Joseph was with Aviva, where he served in various investment management leadership roles. Joseph earned his MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Buena Vista University. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute and has earned the right to use the CFA designation.

Doug Wolff is the Chief Executive Officer of Security Benefit. As CEO, he oversees the company’s overall success of the business, including the vision, mission, direction, strategy, and culture. He also serves as Chairman of the Board for Everly, the company’s direct-to-consumer life insurance subsidiary, and is Chief Executive Officer at Eldridge Wealth Solutions. He has over 35 years of industry experience and previously worked at Ernst & Young and Allstate. Doug earned his bachelor’s in finance from the University of Illinois and is a fellow in the Society of Actuaries and a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Alison Reed is Executive Vice President, Head of Distribution at Jackson National Life Distributors LLC (JNLD), the marketing and distribution business of Jackson National Life Insurance Company (Jackson®). In this role, she is responsible for establishing strategic growth initiatives for Jackson’s distribution organization. She collaborates with other areas within the organization to drive performance, develop new product and distribution opportunities, and direct initiatives for continued business growth. Alison joined Jackson in 2002 and has served in a variety of leadership roles during her tenure at JNLD.

In this role, Brian leverages his broad expertise in the industry and competitive landscape to embed deep insights within his team that support Jackson’s overall strategy and contribute to its reputation as a retirement industry leader. Prior to joining Jackson in 2011, Brian was Vice President of Due Diligence at National Planning Holdings, Inc.
